Sunflower

Good morning!

Have you ever wondered

How sunflower mourns

At the sinking orange?

The language of it speaks

In silent leaves,

Who attract nothing like the blossom -

But keep place, around the only offer.

Said loyal, said admired -

Seems belongin’ to that ever-chasing eye.

Plausible enough, but not so enough -

Leaves are always on their guard.

Call that arrogance as you wish:

One turns and turns, jusqu’au bout,

Wooed still by cheeky emeralds.

—— I'll claim it love.
